Welcome to the Clean Coasts Photography Competition 2011 Website. The purpose of this website is to inspire and encourage you to enter our Clean Coasts Photography Competition 2011. Last year’s Clean Coasts Photography Competition received over 600 entries of a very high standard. This year the competition has a total prize fund of 3,000 euro.
The closing date for this years competiton has now passed and shortlisting of entries is taking place. Over 1,000 entries have been submitted. Thanks to all those who entered.
For 2011 the overall theme of the competition is “I Love My Coast” and there are 4 categories for entries. These categories are; 1) Coastal Landscape 2) Coastal Heritage 3) Nature & Wildlife 4) People & The Coast
Ireland has some of the most beautiful and spectacular coastline in the world. The Clean Coasts programme which is operated by the Environmental Education Unit of An Taisce facilitates communities to learn about, manage, conserve and enhance this wonderful natural resource.
