What is Coca-Cola Clean Coasts Week?
Coca-Cola Clean Coasts Week is a national initiative operated by the Environmental Education Unit of An Taisce as part of the Clean Coasts Programme.The week, which will take place with Friday June 10th to Friday June 17th 2011, aims to involve communities in caring for their local coastal environment.
Clean Coasts Week is an important aspect of the Clean Coasts Programme which is a 2 strand programme. One element of the programme is the Green Coast Award and the other is Coast Care. Coast Care is communities caring for their coasts! Coca-Cola Clean Coasts Week will showcase the amazing work being done by Coast Care groups all over Ireland.
